Scherezada whelped the C, E, G, K, N, P litters von Konev, and founded the longest in-kennel tail-female line of NZ.Ch. GSDs.

Because we were living in the city we were limited to 4 adults, so each of Schaferin, Dina and Fanne had to be sold in partnerships. Schaferin produced our B litter before her owner divorced & sold her.

Dina was the only non-dwarf in her litter, and despite my vote was mated to dwarf-producer Ex.2 Masuta Piaute (Imp.UK); her next litter was by Ex.3 Karlrach Head West (Imp.Aust). Two of my 3 pups in those 2 litters died, the other wasn't worth registering.

Fanne's owners put her down because of an allegedly bad back, but I suspect that a pending divorce was the real reason.

Although we required a super8 movie of Ebby standing naturally, and gaiting, before we agreed to buy her, afterwards we had to return that video - and I have so far been unable to find whatever photos I took of Ebby.

She was a well-coloured sable. not as exaggerated behind as her daughter, Schaferin.

Ebby had that S-litter in quarantine, but she & her pups survived being hauled south by us that evening as soon as the govt.vet released her & them.

But the first time Jeannie took her to the local school to do some ring-training after the litter had gone, Ebby chose to express her opinion by turning her back on Jeannie and ignoring Jeannie's attempts to command-&-train her.

And we found that there was no point in showing her a month either side of her heats - she was NOT in the mood to extend herself during those almost-3 months.
