Being by Jonny (sire of Liescha's sire) and thus having as her grandsire the It.Sgr. Mutz P we had been adding to our foundation line as available, and having VzSgr. Quanto W as her other grandsire, she was very much what we wanted when her owners made her available to us as they began their divorce. Naturally we wanted to import her in-whelp, and we chose the Sieger Marko vom Cellerland son G.Yth.Sgr, V7 Bel.&Dan.Sgr, Sp&Por.Ch. Chicko von Gut Friedburg SchH3 FH. The mating was done, and all went well until the blood test before she caught the plane - and she was rejected (I think we were told that her leptospirosis titre was too high). So OUR litter had to be whelped in Yorkshire, and the only way we could afford to import even one of the litter was by pre-selling that pup in a partnership. Ronet Landa came to NZ, did her quarantine with Lieschen & Gina, then went to her South Island home. A couple of years later, after haviug a litter there, she was sent back to us - and at Wellington Airport the freight woman ASSUMED that Landa loved us so let her out of the crate while we still following. Landa DIDN'T know us, and was drugged for the flight. Before we could do anything she had wobbled out of the cargo shed, across the golf-course, through the traffic tunnel, and vanished! AirNZ called us at about midnight when they thought the dog that had been seen on the airport was her. but although we were driven all over the airfield in the security vehicle, we saw no GSD. AirNZ flew the owner up from the South Island, and I spent the weekend driving him around the block of scrub-land next to the channel into Wellington Harbour, that seeming to be where she was hiding. We saw her once, but she ignored her owner's calls. Two days later her corpse was found at the foot of a cliff.

After some showing, at which she gaiued Ex.2, Gina was sent to Australia to be mated to V A.ResGV. Ex.2 Phal vom Aegidiendamm SchH1 (A Imp.Ger) - but the sod (known for having a low libido) turned his nose up at her! So she was taken to the over-sized V1 Ex.2 Casar vom Löhnerring SchH3 (A Imp.Ger), came home, and on 2.2.1980 whelped our Z-litter:

Pr.12 Zum JonnyGd.10 Zeigen,  Gd.11 Zibu,  Zackig,  Suf.21 Ziele,  Pr.12 Zita,  Pr.10 Zacke,  Zinne.

Jonny was in partnership with a local cop.  Zeigen went to a local breeder and sired a son who won under judges who chose to NOT measure him; the sister became a brood for the police kennels, Zacke went to Landa's people and produced a daughter (Eyreview Erka) who came back to our area to a friend of ours, produced a daughter (Vanderose Cora) who went back to the South Island and produced the Ch. Ex.4 Eyreview Nadja who founded the very consistent Zauberhaus Kennel line of champions.
